Habitat for Humanity -- 2009  (2 homes)

  My Solar, LLC is continuing it's strong support of Habitat for Humanity in 2009.  Construction of one new home by the MV Lutheran Coalition was completed in May 2009 and a second new home was started in October 2009.   For both homes My Solar, LLC has provided financial support and our employees are reproviding volunteer labor to assist in the construction.

   Feed My Starving Children

  My Solar, LLC was a corporate sponsor for the Feed My Starving Children packing event held in Phoenix November 19th - 23rd, 2008.  In addition to financial sponsorhip, My Solar, LLC employees and their families volunteered their time to help organize and participate in the event.  During the event 420,120 meals were packed which will feed 1,150 kids for ONE YEAR!!  To find out more about this great organization, please visit their website: www.fmsc.org. 

Habitat for Humanity -- 2008

  My Solar, LLC was a significant supporter of Habitat for Humanity in 2008 as were were able to donate a complete solar electric system (equipment and installation) to a new habitat home built in Guadalupe at 5712 E. Calle Biehn.  This home is was built by the MV Lutheran Coalition and was completed in May 2008.  This solar electric system should provide about half of the electric power for this home for the next 25 years!   

   Charities

  My Solar, LLC is commited to donating at least 10% of our annual profits to worthy charities.  For 2009 our target charities are:  Habitat for Humanity and Feed my Starving Children.
